Facility Porter (1099 Contractor)

Position Overview We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated Independent Contractor to handle our weekly facility upkeep and local logistics. This is the perfect role for a local detailer, a handyman, or someone looking for a steady income stream with flexible hours.

Scope of Work Facility Upkeep:

Maintain a clean, professional work environment by vacuuming and emptying trash in the office space, fully sanitizing/stocking the staff restroom, and keeping warehouse walkways clear of debris.

Logistics & Errands:

Assist with occasional local supply or hardware store runs using your personal vehicle.

Vehicle Detailing:

Perform deep cleans and interior/exterior washouts for our 3 company trucks and trailers when they return to the shop from the field. Compensation Structure We offer a predictable weekly base pay combined with lucrative per-vehicle detailing bonuses:

Base Contract Rate:

$125.00 / week (Covers weekly office/warehouse upkeep and standard errands).

Vehicle Detail Bonus:

An additional $75.00 for every truck & trailer combo deep-cleaned (or $40.00 per individual truck/trailer).

Mileage Reimbursement:

All local company errands are fully reimbursed at the standard 2026 IRS mileage rate. Opportunity for additional paid work detailing company personal vehicles. Requirements Any prior background in residential/commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or automotive detailing. Reliable personal transportation with a valid driver's license (for supply runs). Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical work (washing/cleaning vehicles). Must operate as an independent contractor (1099).

Pay:

$300.00 - $500.00 per week
