Duties Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas. Conduct deep cleaning tasks such as floor buffing, carpet cleaning, window washing, and restroom sanitation to uphold high standards of hygiene. Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, offices, restrooms, and break rooms to ensure a sanitary environment. Assist with light custodial repairs or minor maintenance tasks as needed to support overall facility upkeep. Use commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols. Support industrial cleaning efforts when required, including cleaning large-scale machinery or storage areas. Keep detailed logs of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety procedures. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders when necessary. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure thorough cleanliness. Experience with facilities maintenance or porter duties is a plus.
