•Weekly pay Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure all areas are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the overall safety and comfort of our workspace, supporting our commitment to a pristine environment for employees, visitors, and clients alike. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas.
Handle cleaning chemicals and agents safely in accordance with established safety protocols and handling procedures.
Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools to maintain floors and surfaces in excellent condition.
Conduct heavy lifting tasks following safe lifting practices when moving furniture, supplies, or equipment.
Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces regularly.
Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate department.
Follow all safety protocols during cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries while ensuring a hazard-free environment. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, and proper handling of chemical agents.
Ability to operate cleaning machinery including floor buffers and other custodial equipment safely.
Physical capability for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented attitude.
