Duties Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance Handle janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting surfaces, and restocking supplies to ensure a tidy environment Assist with custodial responsibilities for both commercial and residential spaces, including light maintenance tasks as needed Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or safety hazards promptly Participate in industrial cleaning projects when required, utilizing specialized equipment and techniques Maintain cleaning schedules and complete documentation of completed tasks for accountability Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety protocols Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, and sealing floors is highly desirable Knowledge of commercial cleaning standards and industrial cleaning processes is a plus Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs or painting is advantageous Previous porter or custodial experience in busy environments will be considered an asset Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail combined with excellent time management skills Join us in creating clean, safe spaces that leave a positive impression!
