You will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks, operating cleaning equipment, and adhering to safety protocols to deliver exceptional custodial services. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers Handle chemical agents safely by following all chemical handling safety procedures and maintaining proper storage practices Conduct heavy lifting tasks in accordance with safe lifting practices when moving furniture, supplies, or equipment Maintain sanitation standards through routine trash removal, disinfecting surfaces, and ensuring restrooms are hygienic and well-stocked Operate custodial equipment including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and other cleaning tools to ensure optimal cleanliness Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting as needed to support overall building upkeep Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures Skilled in handling chemical agents safely and understanding chemical handling safety procedures Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safe lifting practices Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when necessary Experience operating cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining clean environments Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks including basic repairs or residential painting is a plus Join us in creating clean, safe spaces where productivity can thrive!
