What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Overview Looking for a great on-campus job? This position will help you learn simple, practical cleaning skills (plus, imagine how thrilled your mom will be when she finds out you are learning how to keep things spotless!). Working alongside our full-time custodial team, you will play a key role in keeping the Taggart Student Center looking great every night. Starts at $12.00 per hour with opportunities for increases. Approximately 20 hours per week. 4-hour shifts are scheduled between 3:30 PM and 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday (some Saturdays or Sundays as required). While 5 shifts/week (20 hours) is ideal, we may hire the right candidate for 3 shifts/week (12 hours). We are "student centered" and offer flexible time off when classes or exams get busy! Responsibilities
- Emptying trash & recycling
- Dusting and cleaning tables and counters
- Cleaning glass
- Vacuuming & dry mopping
- Cleaning restrooms
- Restocking supplies Qualifications
- No experience needed. Training Provided!

- Ability to follow directions.
- Ability to work with a team.
- Friendly and positive attitude.
