$11.00/hr Overview The Housing Custodian will help students succeed by providing a clean, sanitary, and comfortable living environment. Part-time work between hours of 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We will work with school schedules between those hours. Responsibilities Will be responsible for all cleaning aspects of USU housing buildings. Qualifications Desire to serve others. Dependable. Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing. Strong organizational skills. Attention to detail. Ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple projects. Ability to adapt to changing conditions or work assignments. Excellent interpersonal abilities. The role may involve exposure to loud noises or vibrations from cleaning equipment (such as vacuums), as well as conditions that may affect the respiratory system, including fumes, odors, dust, mists, or gases from cleaning supplies. Bending, crawling, and crouching may be required. Incumbents may also be required to lift, push, and/or pull objects up to 50 pounds, and to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
