  • Up to a 4% match, 100% vested PTO Accrual All PPE is provided Inclusive environment Job Summary This position is responsible for supporting daily facility operations by providing professional front desk services while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
This position serves as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and customers via phone calls, email, and in-person visits. The role also performs routine custodial duties, including cleaning common areas, offices, restrooms, and the break room. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-service oriented, detail-focused, and capable of balancing administrative responsibilities with hands-on facility support in a manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities:
Comply with rules, procedures, safe working practices, health and safety standards and the use of personal protective equipment; Report all near misses/incidents/accidents resulting in personal injury or property damage; Comply with Quality and Food Safety policies and procedures; Be responsible for collecting, sorting and disposing of the unit's waste; Sanitize the workspace to ensure a clean production environment, including work areas, social areas, storage areas and passageways; Ensuring the use of specific products for cleaning the industrial unit; Ensuring that there is a stock of the products/work equipment needed to carry out their duties; Track and keep inventory of PPE for production employees; Track and keep inventory of office supplies and place orders; Act as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing a warm and professional welcome. Direct all guests and visitors to their scheduled meetings. Guarantee visitors log gets filled (H&S rules); Assist with the recruitment process, posting jobs, screening applicants, scheduling interviews and extending offers; Play a key role in organizing employee events throughout the year; Answering telephone/emails and transferring to applicable person; Coordinate mail and distribute accordingly including scanning invoices to Supplier Invoice and create/distribute POs if needed; Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings, visits and audits including booking meeting rooms and arranging refreshments/meals; Assist the Travels department with accommodations for visitors; Assist IT department as needed; Set up printers, system cameras, and computers; Schedule maintenance appointments for company vehicles. Requirements:
1 year of reception experience required High School Diploma required Previous custodial or industrial cleaning experience preferred Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety Reliable attendance and punctuality Must be safety and quality conscious Strong Organization & Communication skills Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word & Excel Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.; be able to stand, bend, lift, twist, and turn, for extended periods of time in a humid environment Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Schedule:
