A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Responsibilities:
Included by not limited to Manage time efficiently Follow all health and safety regulations Works safely with a variety of cleaning supplies without causing damage to floors and other fixtures General cleaning of the building(s) and keeping it maintained and in good condition
• Properly utilize PPE, chemicals, and supplies Complete non-routine cleaning as specified Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors Clean and stock restrooms Clean up spills with the appropriate equipment Clean windows and mirrors Maintain adequate inventory of supplies Notify supervisor/manager of major repairs needed Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment Trash collection and disposal Lock doors after operating hours
RequirementsExperience:
High school diploma 1+ years of janitorial experience Familiar with Material Safety Data Sheets Able to perform physical duties including standing, reaching, lifting, and moving objects up to 30 pounds OSHA Knowledge SRL Total Source, LLC is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
