What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Their responsibilities include removing trash from the facility, preparing trash for pickup by the waste hauler, mopping, and performing daily cleaning of assigned areas. What You Will DoGroundskeeping and Upkeep of property:
Ensure completion of daily checklists.
Maintain exterior cleanliness and overall curb appeal for the property.
Maintain landscaping in good repair in between 3rd party service visits.
Clean and sweep swimming pools as required.
Arrange property furniture as directed.
Mop and vacuum daily in all areas required.
Ensure all amenity areas stay clean and presentable throughout the day.
Responsible for ensuring product presentation meet brand and company standards at all time.
Must be available for additional hours including evenings, weekends, and overtime when necessary.
Must be available to assist with move-outs, turn, and move-ins that extend beyond normal full-time hoursMust be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, as required by the demands of the job. This may include bending, stooping, and lifting throughout the workday. Ideally, You'll HaveHigh School or equivalent education preferredProficient in simple computer tasksYou'll crush it if you have experience withOne year experience in maintenance or a skilled tradeExperience in the student housing or multi-family industryOrganizational StructureReports to:
