This full-time, 40-hour-per-week position offers flexible hours and plays a vital role in supporting our students, staff, congregants, and visitors. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and is committed to ensuring our facilities remain clean and orderly on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities Facility Sanitation:

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal.

Space Maintenance:

Clean and sanitize classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas daily.

Inventory & Safety:

Safely utilize cleaning chemicals and equipment; ensure all supplies are stored properly.

Hazard Reporting:

Inspect facilities daily and promptly report maintenance issues or safety hazards to leadership.

Event Support:

Assist with the setup and breakdown of furniture and equipment for church services, school functions, and special events.

Community Engagement:

Maintain a friendly, helpful demeanor to support a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.

Qualifications & Skills Experience:

Previous commercial cleaning or custodial experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to [e.g., 50] pounds consistently throughout a shift.

Independence:

Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage a full-time schedule productively with minimal supervision. Attention to

High standards for cleanliness, organization, and safety.

Reliability:

Regular and reliable attendance is essential to this position. Additional Requirements Must be able to pass a background check and fingerprinting (required for working in a school environment).

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
