93/ per hour Starting salary based on qualifications and experience Job Description Parks, Recreation and Tourism ( PRT ) is seeking dependable individuals with custodial experience and a strong commitment to customer service and quality work. This position is responsible for maintaining City buildings, facilities, and recreational areas through routine and specialized custodial services.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Provide excellent internal and external customer service in support of the City's Customer Service Initiative. Clean offices, restrooms, kitchens, cabins, outdoor facilities, and other assigned areas. Perform floor care, including vacuuming, mopping, stripping, and waxing. Restock supplies, replace light bulbs, and properly mix and use cleaning chemicals. Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables; maintain outdoor areas and parking lots. Operate commercial custodial equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums. Assist with special cleaning projects, deep cleaning, and sanitizing as needed. Set up facilities for special events and work flexible schedules as required. Report safety hazards and equipment issues promptly. Work during City emergencies when necessary. SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
: Requires a valid driver's license and a driving record that is in compliance with the City Driving Standards .
