POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE:

Custodian

FLSA:

Non-Exempt

REPORTS TO

Supervisor

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Twelve month employment with benefits as specified in the Classified Agreement

QUALIFICATIONS

Highly motivated; able to multitask

Must be able to lift and/or move 10 lbs. routinely

Must be able to lift and/or move 25 lbs. regularly

Must be able to lift and/or move 50 lbs. to 75 lbs. occasionally

Must be able to climb step ladders

Must have the ability to add and subtract and to perform these operations using weight, measurement, volume, and distance

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Provides students and staff with a safe attractive, comfortable, and clean environment

Empties trash

Washes windows inside and outside

Secures building each day

Maintains lawn

Shovels snow and remove debris from sidewalks

Orders and maintains supplies

OSHA compliant

Maybe required to obtain a Pesticide User License

Complies with School Board Policies and Regulations

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Participates in professional development activities

Presents and communicates in a professional manner

Performs other duties as assigned by Principal/Supervisor

SALARY RANGE

$28,807.52-$43,211.31
