Floorcare Technician

Job Description Position Duties :

Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms with cleaning and paper supplies. Collect and dispose trash. Maintain building floors by performing sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming. Perform stripping and waxing of hard surfaces using scrubbers and buffers. Polish floors to maintain their appearance. Clean and shampoo carpets. Wash windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, dust furniture and equipment, and polish fixtures using appropriate cleaning materials and tools. Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance on custodial equipment and notify management of the need for repairs. Adhere to safety procedures while using chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damaging surfaces. Provide support services with the setup and breakdown of furniture for events. Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

1 year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation performing routine floor maintenance tasks.
