Job Summary Monday- Friday $13/ hr 5:30p-8:00p We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitorial Worker to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across our facilities. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums efficiently and safely. Handle chemical agents with strict adherence to safety procedures for sanitation and disinfection purposes. Conduct heavy lifting tasks using proper safe lifting practices when moving furniture, supplies, or waste containers. Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and detailed floor care to ensure a professional appearance. Follow all safety protocols during custodial activities, including chemical handling safety procedures and equipment use. Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting issues needing professional attention. Support industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning projects as needed to meet operational requirements. Provide excellent customer service by addressing facility-related concerns promptly and professionally. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred. Familiarity with cleaning techniques, equipment operation (including floor buffers), and sanitation standards is highly desirable. Experience handling chemical agents safely and understanding chemical handling safety procedures is a plus. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices or residential painting is beneficial but not required. Demonstrated ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safe lifting practices. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards across various environments.
