Conduct custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitation of high-touch areas to maintain hygiene standards. Use manual handling techniques for heavy lifting and moving supplies or equipment in accordance with safe lifting practices. Maintain facilities by performing minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or reporting repairs needed for equipment or infrastructure. Operate commercial cleaning tools and equipment efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines to ensure optimal performance. Support additional facilities maintenance duties as assigned, including industrial cleaning or residential painting tasks when necessary. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and scrubbers; ability to operate them safely and effectively. Strong understanding of chemical agent handling safety procedures and sanitation standards. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while practicing safe lifting techniques. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly approach when interacting with staff or clients. Experience in facilities maintenance or general upkeep work enhances your suitability for this role.
