In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in various Commercial and Residential settings. Your efforts will ensure that the clients facility and home is cleaned and welcoming for all employees/staff, their clients and homeowners. Perform cleaning of offices, restrooms, breakroom, hallways and common areas, restock supplies, and dispose of trash in a Commercial setting. Residential, you will perform linen changes, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, decluttering, and tiding up. This opportunity will grow and lead to more cleaning in Newport News.

Employee THIS IS Newport News and Hampton AREA Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of offices, homes, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning as needed Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure availability at all times Dispose of waste and recyclables responsibly in designated containers and areas Follow health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a hygienic environment Conduct routine inspections to identify areas requiring additional attention or maintenance Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality standards Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time efficiently Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic - THIS
