00PM-10:30PM (weekends as needed) Overview Join our dynamic team as a Janitor, where your contributions will keep our facilities sparkling clean and welcoming! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout various environments, ensuring that both commercial and residential spaces are pristine. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will play a vital role in creating a safe and pleasant atmosphere for everyone. What you'll do Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness across all areas. Conduct thorough restroom sanitation and restock supplies as needed to ensure hygiene standards are met. Handle floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing, and polishing to keep surfaces looking their best. Engage in industrial cleaning duties, including the safe disposal of waste and maintaining cleanliness in high-traffic areas. Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly. Provide porter services by moving furniture or equipment as required for events or cleaning purposes. Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning schedules are adhered to efficiently. Uphold safety standards while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to protect yourself and others. Basic qualifications Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques. Preferred qualifications Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment operation. Experience in residential painting or maintenance is a plus.
