Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicle systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues with engine, transmission, electrical systems, and other vehicle components. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrain, suspension, brakes, steering, and electrical wiring diagrams interpretation. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignment, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles running smoothly. Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble, repair, or replace faulty parts in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Interpret schematics and automotive wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex electrical issues and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) components. Repair vehicle transmission systems, diesel engines, and suspension components while ensuring adherence to safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering professional advice on vehicle care and maintenance. Qualifications Proven dealership or mechanic experience with a strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics equipment and technical proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools. Experience working with GM vehicles is a plus but not required; knowledge of automotive electrical systems is essential. Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and vehicle service manuals accurately. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment to perform repairs efficiently. Knowledge of vehicle transmission system repair, powertrain components, vehicle suspension system repair, and alignment procedures. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Pay:
$20.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
