$19.75
Hours:
M-F 5:30pm to 3:00am
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for all aspects of daily plant housekeeping and sanitation.
Essential Job Duties:
Follow written Sanitation SOP's. Allergen cleaning - during allergen cleaning to minimize cross contamination, do not move from an allergen line to a non-allergen line without changing outer garments. Clear production floor of any finished goods, raw materials, utensils, and other items that should not be in the production area while cleaning. Dissemble, clean and re-assemble large icing equipment. Clean all areas of the facility including breakrooms, bathrooms, offices and production areas. Complete preventive maintenance repairs on some equipment Remove empty pallets and stack in a safe, organized manner. Clean equipment, conveyors, walls, drains, and floors Wash, rinse, and sanitize dirty utensils in the 3-compartment sink and/or dishwasher and store insanitary conditions when not in use. Inspect equipment when done cleaning before signing off on daily paperwork. Report broken sanitation or production equipment. Report issues of product quality or food safety to appropriate personnel as indicated on the Management Organizational Chart in the break room. Follow all company safety, GMP, behavioral rules, and other policies in the employee handbook. Help other Sanitation team members. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors. Experience working in a plant environment on assembly lines.
Physical Requirements:
Walking, Standing, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, and reaching frequently, use of handsand arms for extended periods of time frequently. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
