From $31,200 Position Overview We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor / Custodian Supervisor to maintain our customers' buildings in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. In addition to performing hands-on cleaning tasks, this position includes supervisory responsibilities —ensuring that team members have the supplies, training, and support needed to perform their duties effectively. You may also service your own assigned buildings and act as a fill-in for other locations when needed. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize assigned building areas, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, hallways, entryways, and common areas. Perform dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, window cleaning, and trash removal. Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and handrails. Refill and maintain supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, etc.). Perform detailed cleaning such as baseboards, vents, fixtures, and behind furniture on a scheduled basis. Carry out deep cleaning projects including carpet shampooing, floor stripping and waxing, and pressure washing as needed. Ensure restrooms and kitchens are properly sanitized and stocked at all times. Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality standards. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and supply shortages to management promptly. Supervise and support janitorial staff—monitor attendance, check quality of work, and ensure compliance with cleaning schedules. Train new employees on safety procedures, cleaning techniques, and equipment use. Maintain inventory of cleaning products and equipment; order supplies as needed. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA standards. Assist with special cleaning or event setups as required. Skills & Qualifications Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish Proven experience as a janitor, custodian, or cleaning supervisor. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and proper usage. Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Integrity and ability to work independently. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Must have a smartphone for communication and scheduling.
