Job Summary:

General Cleaner shall be responsible for all janitorial operations activities listed below within the assigned portfolio, under the direction of the Supervisor and Area Manager. Responsibilities Responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness. Execute daily tasks to ensure they are completed well and on time. Assist manager in organizing planning and implementing strategy. Ensure that the company guidelines are followed. Be available to communicate to client, management and staff. Be knowledgeable on company rules and regulations. Communicate feedback and needs are requested by client and management. Report to work on time for each shift. Maintain a positive attitude towards others.

Additional Requirements:

Prompt response times and sense of urgency with TWC and client at all times. Ownership of customer communication when necessary and/or appropriate. Reporting any high-level comments, questions or concerns to Supervisor. Must be US Citizen Adhere to TWC Code of Ethics and Conduct. Adhere to applicable company requirements and regulations. Must maintain a professional and respectful attitude at all times. Must be able to lift 50lbs and follow all safety procedures. Essential Duties (include but not limited to):

LOBBY AREAS

Daily Dust mop and damp mop hard flooring (damp mop afterhours only) Clean door frames, door hardware, door glass (inside and outside) Empty all waste/recycling receptacles and replace liners if necessary Vacuum walk-off mats Vacuum carpet Spot clean walls Discard boxes/packing materials (that are broke down and marked stating trash) Weekly Dust windowsills Spot clean carpet as needed.

Daily Empty all waste/recycling receptacles and replace liners if necessary. Vacuum carpets (high traffic areas only, to include classrooms/conference rooms) Clean tenant kitchenette, tabletops, counters, sinks, chairs, and carpet Vacuum conference room and wipe down tabletops Clean outside of refrigerators and microwaves (detail cleaning of appliance interiors is by request with additional charge per service) Damp wipe tables, counter and sinks as required to remove beverage spillage. Organize tables and chairs when needed Sanitize and polish dry all drinking fountains Weekly Dust all horizontal surfaces of all furniture, files, ledges, and cabinets. Wet wipe when needed Remove finger marks and smudges from doors, door frames and walls around light switches Vacuum all carpet Dust windowsills Dust desks by request only Clean both sides of interior glass partitions if accessible Spot clean carpets as needed Empty shredder all shredders Wipe down backsplash tiles

RESTROOMS/SHOWER ROOMS

Daily Mop floors with EPA approved, broad spectrum neutral disinfectant solution Empty all trash receptacles and replace liners as necessary Replenish all paper towels, toilet seat covers, toilet tissue, sanitary napkin disposal bags, and soap dispensers Sanitize commodes, urinals (inside and out), wash basins Spot clean booth partitions Weekly Dust partitions Dust lights, exhausts and vents Spot clean carpets and flush drains as needed

ELEVATORS

Daily Clean and Polish all walls and railings Vacuum all carpet or tile floors Mop hardwood floors Weekly Clean tracks Clean inside the emergency phone box

CORRIDORS & VESTIBULE / FOYER AREAS

Daily Spot vacuum and damp mop hard flooring Dust all surface, including shelves, cabinets and ledges Clean all doors and partitions Remove finger marks and smudges from doors, door frames and walls around light switches Clean, disinfect and polish drinking fountains and backings Weekly Vacuum corridor halls Dust and wipe down railings/horizontal surfaces (below 72") Vacuum carpeted areas of corridors and spot clean carpet (spot cleaning is defined as cleaning stains that can be removed with the use of a spotter kit and no powered equipment is necessary)

STAIRWELLS

Daily Spot -check (making sure of dust and spills are clean) Weekly Dust mop and damp mop

OUTSIDE AREAS

Daily Empty cigarette urns, sweep cigarette butts and debris, wipe down urns Monitor, sweep and blow exteriors near doors Wipe down all outdoor furniture

WASTE MANAGEMENT

Follow all scope of work requirements for waste management, including trash recycling process Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or healthcare settings; hospital experience is highly desirable Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to cleaning and environmental services Strong understanding of sanitation procedures and environmental health practices Experience with floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet maintenance Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards Prior experience in hospital or healthcare environments is a plus but not required Join us in creating safe, clean spaces that promote health and comfort!
