. Night Supervisor - Working Cleaning Supervisor We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Night Supervisor to help oversee our growing commercial cleaning operations across Southern Vermont, New Hampshire, and Western Massachusetts. This is a working supervisory position. The successful candidate will oversee evening cleaning operations, support cleaning staff, conduct quality-control inspections, travel between accounts, and step in to perform cleaning duties when necessary. Schedule Monday-Friday, generally 3:00 PM-11:00 PM Hours and schedule may vary based on operational needs, account requirements, and staffing needs. Compensation $22.00-$27.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional compensation may include a vehicle/car stipend and reimbursement or payment for qualifying business-related fuel expenses, in accordance with company policy. Service Area This position will travel between customer locations throughout Southern Vermont, New Hampshire, and Western Massachusetts, including areas such as: Turners Falls Greenfield Brattleboro Newfane Townsend Keene Surrounding communities Regular travel between customer locations is an essential function of the position. Language Requirements Fluency in both Spanish and English is required. The ability to communicate effectively in both languages is necessary because the position involves supervising, supporting, and communicating with employees who speak Spanish and English. Portuguese-language skills are a strong plus but are not required. Responsibilities Oversee approximately eight (8) nighttime customer accounts, multiple cleaning teams, and a growing portfolio of locations. Serve as the primary evening contact for cleaning staff. Travel between customer locations to check on staffing, performance, quality, and completion of assigned work. Conduct quality-control inspections, including inspections of accounts cleaned on previous days. Check in with daytime and evening cleaning staff as shifts begin or end and help ensure employees have the necessary equipment, vacuums, cleaning products, and supplies. Respond to or assist with emergencies, call-outs, and last-minute operational issues. Be willing and able to perform cleaning duties when necessary. Serve as a designated substitute when staffing coverage is needed. Help organize, clean, and maintain company offices, storage areas, and supply areas. Monitor inventory and assist with ordering, organizing, and distributing cleaning supplies. Make sure cleaning staff understand their assignments and have the equipment and supplies needed to perform their work. Communicate staffing issues, supply needs, quality concerns, customer concerns, and other operational issues to management. Assist management with other reasonable operational duties as needed. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Hands-on and willing to work alongside cleaning staff when necessary Organized and detail-oriented Dependable and punctual Flexible and able to respond to changing operational needs Comfortable traveling between multiple customer locations Able to communicate clearly and professionally in both Spanish and English Comfortable providing direction and support to cleaning employees Able to inspect work, identify problems, and help implement solutions Comfortable working independently while keeping management informed Willing to step in and assist when an employee is absent or additional coverage is needed This is not a desk-only supervisory position. The successful candidate must be comfortable visiting multiple locations, working alongside cleaning staff when necessary, solving problems in the field, inspecting completed work, and stepping in when coverage is needed. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions This is a hands-on, physically active position. The employee must be able to perform cleaning and supervisory duties in a variety of residential and/or commercial environments, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach, push, pull, and lift/carry cleaning equipment and supplies as required. Ability to perform routine cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, wiping, scrubbing, and restroom cleaning. Ability to safely handle and use commercial cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment in accordance with company safety procedures. Comfortable working in environments involving dust, dirt, odors, cleaning products, wet floors, and other normal conditions associated with commercial cleaning. The right person will become an important part of our operations team and help ensure our evening accounts run smoothly while providing our cleaning staff with the support, communication, and resources they need to succeed as the company continues to grow. Compensation decisions are based on job-related factors including experience, qualifications, skills, training, reliability, assignment requirements, and business needs.
