Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-Time Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. As a key member of our custodial staff, you will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, ensuring that all areas meet health and safety regulations while supporting the smooth operation of our premises. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals Handle custodial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards Operate specialized cleaning machinery such as floor buffers and scrubbers to ensure optimal floor care and appearance Follow safety protocols when handling chemical agents, ensuring proper storage, usage, and disposal in accordance with safety procedures Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or hazards and report issues promptly for resolution Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs or painting as needed to support facility upkeep Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, supplies used, and safety procedures followed Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles preferred; familiarity with commercial or industrial cleaning environments is a plus Knowledge of proper chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation standards Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools safely and effectively Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices for extended periods Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure thorough cleanliness across all areas Customer service mindset with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of facilities maintenance or custodial experience is advantageous Join us in creating a pristine environment where safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction are our top priorities!
