The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various environments, ensuring that all areas are presentable and hygienic. This role is crucial in providing a welcoming atmosphere for customers and staff alike. Duties Perform custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to ensure cleanliness. Sanitate surfaces and fixtures in restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to maintain a hygienic environment. Conduct commercial cleaning duties in offices, hotels, or other facilities as required. Handle floor care activities such as stripping, waxing, and buffing to keep floors in optimal condition. Launder cleaning cloths and other materials used in the cleaning process. Provide excellent customer service by responding to requests or concerns from clients or guests promptly. Assist with carpet cleaning tasks as needed to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning duties are completed efficiently and effectively. Skills Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred. Strong understanding of sanitation practices and safety protocols. Ability to perform floor care tasks effectively, including the use of floor care equipment. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Experience in hotel cleaning is a plus but not required. Capable of laundering linens and cleaning materials as part of routine duties. Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
