Overview SUMMARY:
Assist with planning and coordinating activities related to campus events in college facilities as well as assisting with space management and other auxiliary services. Provide assistance to Conference Services by creating and installing signage for events on the main campus and Fitness Center. Perform event setup and reset for Fitness Center and Main Campus events. Attend and monitor events at the Fitness Center, providing customer service and operational support as needed. Review and prioritize facilities use requests to ensure optimum utilization of campus spaces. Develop event layouts and job plans; read and interpret room layout schematics. Facilities Operations & Auxiliary Services Act as backup for Custodial Services by assisting with cleaning and special projects. Perform furniture moves in coordination with Space Management. Operate motorized equipment including forklifts and trucks. Load and unload trucks. Move furniture, equipment, supplies, and materials. Assemble furniture. Space & Asset Management Maintain inventory and equipment records by ensuring the room scheduling system contains accurate inventory for each space. Create and maintain photographs and room schematics for buildings, classrooms, and event spaces on and off campus. Coordinate room inventory and facility documentation to support scheduling, planning, and operational efficiency. General Duties Support the goals and operations of the department, division, and College. Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental operations and campus needs.
Qualifications Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/GED, or a Trade Certificate Physical ability to perform required work One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of experience in the maintenance, custodial, and/or hospitality logistical support field Valid WA driver's license
