What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

- sanitize and clean all toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, partitions, walls & doors. Restock supplies. Collect trash and replace liners. Sweep and mop floor. Follow cross contamination procedures. Office Cleaning
- sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule. Halls and High Traffic area Cleaning
- sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule. Entrances and Exits Cleaning
- sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean entry doors according to schedule. Trash
- Empty trash in office areas, lunchrooms, coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker according to schedule. Supply Restocking
- restock supplies according to schedule. Dusting
- dusting in restrooms, shower/locker areas, according to schedule. Stairwell Cleaning
- sweep, mop, vacuum, and wipe handrails according to schedule. Shower Cleaning
- clean all shower stalls, damp wipe for dust, restock supplies, mop floors following cross contamination procedures. Janitorial Supply Closet/Locker

Qualifications:
Must be able to communicate with others in a courteous and helpful way. Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Must have ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain stamina to perform assigned duties.Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties. Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required. Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.Requirements:
Valid state driver license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance carrier. Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
