A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

COMPENSATION
$18-$22/hour
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Ensure meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings. Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter on a daily basis. Assist in the preparation of market-ready units, including trash removal from vacant apartments. Assist and perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner. Assist in the cleaning of available units and models. Assist in the troubleshooting/repairing of mechanical, carpentry, and electrical problems. Report any maintenance concerns for repairs to the maintenance supervisor or property manager. Perform tasks and operate machinery in a safe manner and in compliance with safety procedures.
