Duties Perform thorough cleaning of lounge areas, including seating, tables, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment Operate floor buffers and other custodial tools to maintain spotless floors and surfaces Handle chemical agents safely in accordance with safety protocols and handling procedures Conduct routine sanitation checks to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met or exceeded Assist with light maintenance tasks such as replacing supplies, minor repairs, and ensuring cleanliness of fixtures and equipment Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting or manual handling tasks to prevent injuries Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, safety inspections, and equipment maintenance logs Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial cleaning environments preferred Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and sanitation tools Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning agents Experience with facilities maintenance or porter duties is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices Customer service skills to interact professionally with lounge guests when needed Background in residential painting or industrial cleaning can be beneficial but is not required This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in maintaining clean, safe spaces while delivering excellent service.
