This energetic position involves performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure all areas are spotless, well-maintained, and inviting for staff, clients, and visitors alike. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help uphold the highest standards of cleanliness across our commercial or industrial spaces. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to keep all areas tidy and hygienic Conduct detailed floor care procedures such as buffing, polishing, stripping, and waxing to maintain pristine surfaces Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies effectively to ensure thorough sanitation of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and other designated spaces Assist with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or reporting issues that require specialized attention Support industrial cleaning projects when needed, including cleaning large equipment or high-traffic areas Maintain cleanliness standards during scheduled shifts and respond promptly to spillages or urgent cleaning needs Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and floor care processes such as buffing and stripping floors Ability to operate cleaning machinery and equipment safely and efficiently Experience with facilities maintenance tasks or porter duties is highly desirable Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform manual tasks throughout the shift Join us in creating a clean and welcoming space that makes every visitor feel comfortable!
