The School District of Amery is now accepting applications for a custodian to work year-round, Monday through Friday at Amery Intermediate School. This position has 2nd shift hours on student contact days (2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.) and daytime hours during the summer and during other school breaks. This is a full-time, year-round position with full benefits including health, dental, paid time off, vacation, paid holidays, state retirement, and more. Cleaning and/or maintenance experience is preferred but not required - paid training is provided. Hourly wage starts at $16.25 per hour.

Qualified candidates must:

Be able to lift, carry and move a minimum of 50 pounds Be able to demonstrate basic computer skills Be able to work independently while cleaning or performing maintenance Demonstrate ability to use all cleaning and maintenance equipment, materials and supplies needed for the position Exhibit interpersonal skills necessary to work with children and the public Be able to maintain confidentiality of staff, students and families Have a happy, positive demeanor and enjoy working with children, parents and fellow employees The School District of Amery is a public PK-12 district of approximately 1,200 students in four buildings on one campus.
