Job Description
Overview We are looking for a detail oriented person to join our dynamic team as a Second Shift Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a pristine, safe, and welcoming environment for our facilities. This energetic position is perfect for individuals who take pride in their work, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and are committed to delivering exceptional cleanliness and sanitation standards. As a key member of our custodial staff, you will ensure that all areas are spotless, well-maintained, and compliant with safety protocols, contributing to the overall success of our operations. This position is at a different location each evening. Sometimes multiple locations. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of commercial and residential spaces during the second shift, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas. Operate cleaning equipment to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Handle chemical agents safely while performing sanitation tasks, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures. Maintain facilities by performing routine custodial duties such as trash removal, dusting, mopping, and surface cleaning. Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Requirements Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and other custodial tools. Ability to handle chemical agents safely and follow chemical handling safety procedures. Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while maintaining safe lifting practices. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to sanitation and cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently during the second shift hours. Prior experience with commercial cleaning is a plus but not required. Valid driver's license with a clean record is required!
