As a key member of our facilities maintenance crew, you'll utilize your cleaning expertise to deliver exceptional service and uphold our commitment to cleanliness excellence. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents, including floor buffers and sanitation tools. Handle custodial tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and surface disinfecting to maintain hygiene standards. Operate cleaning machinery safely, adhering to chemical handling safety procedures and safety protocol guidelines. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies, furniture, or equipment following safe lifting practices to prevent injury. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored, maintained, and used efficiently to maximize productivity. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to facility needs and ensuring spaces are clean, safe, and inviting. Qualifications Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools. Ability to handle chemical agents safely while following proper chemical handling safety procedures. Strong manual handling skills with an understanding of safe lifting practices for heavy objects or supplies. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on sanitation and cleanliness standards. Good physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting during shift hours. Prior experience in facilities maintenance or Porter roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
