Our goal is to exceed our customers' expectations. The Parts Cleaner receives orders from Flamecut operators as they are completed. Duties The orders are processed in the following order. A. Read entire ticket, paying close attention to: 1. Customer name and address 2. Special instructions 3. Size, lengths and quantities 4. Part numbers 5. Additional special instructions in the body of the order 6. Condition of material, ie. flatness, edge quality B. Check print against parts (to ensure quantity and dimensions) C. Proceed per special instructions (grinding one side or both, or place in tumbler) D. Stack material or place in crate depending on size and shipping instructions E. After inspection by foreman or leadman: 1. Parts will be banded 2. Shrink wrapped (if needed) 3. Placed on skids (if needed) 4. Tagged with color coded shipping tag F. Complete orders are then put on transfer trays, to be moved to shipping area. G. Completed production orders are placed in done basket on grinding work bench. Orders will be periodically collected by foreman or leadman. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) highly recommended; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Other Skills and Abilities Read tape measure AS400 computer experience a plus.
