Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers Handle chemical agents safely while cleaning, sanitizing surfaces, and maintaining sanitation standards in compliance with safety procedures Conduct heavy lifting tasks following safe lifting practices to move furniture, supplies, or equipment as needed Maintain custodial supplies inventory and notify management when stock levels are low Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as painting touch-ups or basic repairs in residential or commercial spaces Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use for optimal performance Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures Skilled in handling chemical agents safely and understanding chemical handling safety procedures Familiarity with various cleaning equipment including floor buffers, vacuums, mops, and sanitation tools Ability to perform manual handling tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards for heavy lifting and safe lifting practices Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation and cleanliness standards Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed Basic facilities maintenance knowledge including minor repairs and custodial responsibilities Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Join us in creating a pristine environment that promotes health, safety, and comfort!
