Cleaning Technician

Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to ensure a pristine appearance. Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and techniques to remove stains and maintain fiber integrity. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, lobbies, offices, and other designated areas by sanitizing surfaces, fixtures, and appliances. Use janitorial supplies efficiently while adhering to safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination or accidents. Execute specialized floor care procedures such as stripping, sealing, waxing, and buffing to preserve flooring quality. Restock supplies like paper towels, soap dispensers, and trash bags to ensure continuous availability for building occupants. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold a safe environment. Requirements Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and equipment. Knowledge of floor care practices including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing. Ability to operate carpet cleaning machines and other janitorial equipment safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to following health and safety regulations while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
