Companies is a fast-paced property management organization seeking a dependable Cleaner to support the functional and aesthetic standards of our residential properties. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation of assigned buildings to ensure a high-quality living environment for residents and guests. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-directed, and takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality work while collaborating effectively with off-site teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine and detailed cleaning of apartments and common areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and surface sanitation Prepare apartments for new move-ins, ensuring units meet company cleanliness and presentation standards Restock consumable supplies (e.g., paper products, cleaning materials) and assist with inventory tracking to maintain established par levels Inspect assigned units and common areas to confirm furnishings, equipment, and public spaces are clean, orderly, and in good repair Partner with the Property Manager to support property readiness and operational needs Travel between assigned properties within the Superior, WI region (typically within 1-5 miles) during scheduled shifts Maintain compliance with safety procedures and report maintenance or safety concerns as identified Perform additional duties as assigned to support property operations
ACCOUNTABILITY
Effectively plan, organize, and prioritize work to meet productivity and quality expectations Adhere to company attendance standards, workplace conduct guidelines, grooming and appearance expectations, and safety protocols Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow established procedures for incidents and emergencies Participate in required meetings and trainings Demonstrate reliability, consistency, and professionalism in all assigned responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous cleaning experience in property management or a similar environment preferred Ability to independently travel between multiple assigned work locations as required by the role Must possess a valid driver's license or have consistent, reliable transportation that enables timely travel between assigned properties Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position involves regular physical activity and requires the ability to: Access all areas of assigned buildings in a timely manner Lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis Push or pull carts and equipment weighing up to 200 pounds Perform frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, grasping, and repetitive motions Utilize manual dexterity to operate cleaning equipment and tools Demonstrate adequate hearing, vision, and communication ability to safely perform job duties Reasonable accommodations will be considered in accordance with applicable law.
