Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a passion for maintaining cleanliness in various environments. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities remain safe, hygienic, and welcoming for all students, families and visitors. The Cleaner will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks in commercial, residential, and industrial settings. Responsibilities Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. Handle floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, and waxing as needed. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly maintained. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to meet health and safety standards. Assist with special projects or additional cleaning tasks as required. Skills Proven experience in cleaning roles, including janitorial or custodial experience. Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and equipment. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members.
