Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner / Painter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and delivering high-quality painting services across residential, commercial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will help ensure that all surfaces are prepared, painted, and finished to the highest standards, contributing to the aesthetic appeal and longevity of our clients' properties. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer as needed, adhering to construction site safety regulations. Apply paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless and conventional spray equipment), ensuring even coverage and precise color matching based on visual color comparison. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for surface repairs, plastering, drywall installation, caulking, trim carpentry, masonry work, and fixture installation. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and surface specifications to execute painting projects accurately. Conduct surface preparation for construction spray painting and coating applications on various materials such as stucco, masonry, drywall, and structural surfaces. Follow safety protocols diligently by wearing respiratory protection and other personal protective equipment during all phases of work. Maintain a clean work environment by properly disposing of waste materials and ensuring tools are stored safely after use. Collaborate with team members on renovation projects or restoration efforts to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Requirements Proven experience in construction or industrial painting with a strong understanding of surface preparation techniques. Knowledge of color theory and visual color comparison methods to achieve desired finishes. Ability to operate ladders safely and efficiently for elevated work tasks. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless), brushes, rollers, and conventional spray equipment. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints relevant to construction painting projects. Experience with construction site safety regulations including respiratory protection and safety protocol adherence. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to coating thicknesses or surface areas. Additional skills such as carpentry, drywall installation/repair, plastering, caulking, masonry work or handyman experience are highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship in residential painting, commercial projects, or restoration work.
