A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize exam rooms, offices, restrooms, waiting areas, and high-touch surfaces Refill soap, sanitizer, paper products, and other supplies Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces Follow all health and safety regulations, especially in clinical environments Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
Requirements:
Previous commercial or medical cleaning experience preferred Understanding of cleaning chemicals and disinfecting procedures Ability to work independently and follow a set routine Must be dependable, punctual, and professional Able to pass a background check, drug test, and/or health screening (as required by facility) The following requirements are client specific for contracted medical facilities. Employees assigned to these locations will be required to hold and/or complete some and/or all of the following additional job requirements unless medical and/or religious exemption is granted. Client specific educational on-line learning modules Office of Inspector General background verification TB Test or record thereof (within the last 6 months) Flu Shot or record thereof Documented proof of immunity to Rubella and Rubeola, and Hepatitis B. Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccine and 2nd administration of MMR is also acceptable. Hepatitis C testing Physical examination
