Evening Custodian Newbridge Academy for Kids is looking for a dependable, hardworking Evening Custodian to help us maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the children, families, and staff we serve. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, is dependable, pays attention to detail, and is comfortable working independently during evening hours.

Responsibilities May Include:

Cleaning and sanitizing classrooms and common areas Vacuuming and mopping floors Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms Emptying trash and replacing liners Cleaning drinking fountains, windows, doors, and high-touch surfaces Completing routine and deep-cleaning tasks throughout the facility Restocking basic cleaning and facility supplies Light lifting and moving of classroom or cleaning items as needed Communicating maintenance, supply, or facility concerns to administration Helping ensure the Academy is clean, organized, and ready for children and staff each morning

Afternoon/evening deep cleaning

Monday-Thursday:

Evening hours, approximately 4:00-10:00 PM Some flexibility may be available depending on the needs of the Academy.

What We're Looking For:

Dependable and consistent attendance Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Willingness to follow established cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures Ability to perform the physical responsibilities of the position, including standing, bending, lifting, vacuuming, and mopping A positive attitude and respect for working within a child-centered environment Ability to successfully complete all required background checks Previous custodial or professional cleaning experience is helpful, but we are willing to consider the right dependable, hardworking candidate. Sunday-Thursday, primarily afternoon/evening hours

Pay:

$12.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
