Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused team member to support daily school operations through student transportation assistance and janitorial responsibilities. This role helps ensure a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment while providing courteous and reliable support to students, staff, and visitors. Requires candidates to be 26 years old or over due to insurance requirements. Hours M-F 2:30-8 PM. Responsibilities Safely transport students according to assigned routes, schedules, and district or organization policies. Assist students with boarding, exiting, and any approved transportation support needs. Maintain a calm, respectful, and professional environment during transport. Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas. Empty trash, restock supplies, sweep, mop, vacuum, and complete other general cleaning tasks as assigned. Monitor facilities for cleanliness, safety concerns, and maintenance needs. Support event setup, light furniture movement, and other custodial duties as needed. Follow all safety procedures, transportation guidelines, and reporting protocols. Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding schedule changes, incidents, or maintenance concerns. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid driver's license and a safe driving record, if required for transportation duties. Ability to meet any required background check, driving record review, or certification requirements. Previous experience in transportation, custodial work, or a school setting is helpful. Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and manage multiple responsibilities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety. Ability to interact professionally and respectfully with students and staff. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
