Job Overview Sushi Helper - No Experience Required We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Sushi Helper to join our team. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, garnishing, and assembling sushi items according to established standards. Assist the sushi chef with daily food preparation and kitchen duties. Maintain cleanliness of the sushi bar and kitchen area, including regularly cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment. Handle and lift supplies, ingredients, and other materials safely and efficiently. Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations to maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety. Assist with basic food service duties, including restocking supplies and ingredients. Help manage and organize inventory and notify the team when supplies are running low. Assist with food presentation and ensure sushi items are prepared and presented according to established standards. Keep work areas organized, clean, and ready for service. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and assist other team members as needed. Perform other duties related to sushi preparation and kitchen operations as assigned. Qualifications No previous sushi or kitchen experience required; training will be provided. Previous restaurant, kitchen, or food service experience is a plus. Willingness to learn and follow instructions. Reliable, punctual, and responsible. Able to work well with others as part of a team. Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting supplies and ingredients. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and quality. Both experienced and entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply.
