Job Description

Kitchen Team Members play a key role in delivering high-quality food that complements our house-made beer. This is a cross-functional position in a small kitchen, meaning every team member contributes wherever needed, from prep and cooking to cleaning and dishwashing. We're looking for dependable, adaptable people who take pride in their work and understand that teamwork keeps service running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Food Preparation & Cooking Prep ingredients and menu items according to recipes and standards Cook and assemble food during service with attention to quality, consistency, and timing Follow proper portioning and presentation guidelines Communicate clearly with team members during service Support Roles Wash dishes, glassware, cookware, and utensils throughout service Keep dish area clean, organized, and running efficiently Assist with bussing tables if kitchen is slow but front of house is busy Assist with kitchen cleaning duties, including floors, equipment, and surfaces Participate in opening and closing cleaning checklists Kitchen Operations & Team Support Rotate between stations as needed (prep, line, dishes, cleaning) Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations Properly store, label, and rotate food products (FIFO) Assist with restocking, inventory organization, and basic prep for future shifts Qualifications Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred, but not required Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork Ability to stay organized and calm in a fast-paced environment Openness to learning multiple stations and tasks Reliable attendance and punctuality Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs Ability to work in hot, wet, and fast-paced kitchen conditions Manual dexterity to safely use knives, tools, and equipment
