North Grill Hours per week: up to 29 hours/weekJOB SUMMARY
Performs job duties required in the daily operations of The Grill including greeting and serving customers, cooking and preparing food, operating the cash register, and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, seating, and surrounding areas.Duties and Responsibilities :
Assure quality service is provided to all customers Greet customers and take food and beverage orders Prepare orders and perform the cooking of food to assure food production timeliness, quality and portion control, so as to minimize waste, shrinkage and food cost Operate cash register and close cash register at the end of day POS and/or computer knowledge required Assure daily cash receipts, register closeouts, deposits and cashier closeout sheets are completed correctly and forwarded to the accounting office daily Receive and check in all food products and supplies ordered upon delivery; follow-up on all product shortages/overages and forward related paperwork to the accounting office Ensure the freshness and quality of food product and store all items received properly and safely Conduct daily inspections of the premises for cleanliness, maintenance, repair, safety and compliance with established Department of Health (DOH) requirements Keep kitchen, seating, storage, work area and surrounding areas clean and free from safety hazards on a daily basis Perform other related duties as assignedNote:
