The founder enjoys eating ramen and repeatedly visits Japan to study the essence and different variety of ramen. All of our ramen are sincerely developed by our own ramen masters. The founder cooperated with the masters to create the most unique and rich ramen dishes for Kyuramen. Comparing with other compact ramen restaurants, every Kyuramen location is excessed 3,000 sqf spacious area. Kyuramen is not only focused on the taste of dishes, we also ensure our customers to gain distinctive dinning ambiance and great service by professional and attentive staff. We bring customers to have a bowl of ramen experience to the next level. After the big impact in the East Coast, Kyuramen starts expanding their territory to the West Coast. Arcadia is the first location in California. We, a new generation of experienced food industry management team, sincerely invite you who is passionate, endurable, innovative, and reliable to join the team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook at Kyuramen you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and assisting in maintaining a smooth kitchen operation. Your duties will include :
  • Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes following established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Assisting with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning meat, and preparing sauces.
  • Ensuring food quality by monitoring cooking temperatures, seasoning, and overall taste.
  • Collaborating with the culinary team to coordinate orders and maintain efficient workflow.
  • Adhering food safety guidelines and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area.
  • Following proper knife handling techniques.
  • Monitoring food stock, stocking inventory appropriately, and communicate any shortages or discrepancies.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following skills: Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; experience in fine dining or high-volume kitchens is a plus Knowledge of food safety management practices, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling techniques Skills in culinary techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, knife skills, and general food preparation Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Experience with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is advantageous Strong attention to detail for recipe adherence and meal presentation Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new culinary skills and supporting the kitchen team
Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Pay:
$17.50
