Cugini INC in Berkeley, CA is looking for a talented and passionate Pantry Position to join our kitchen team! Responsibilities:

Prepare cold dishes, salads, appetizers, desserts, and pantry items to menu specifications Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and rotation following FIFO standards Ensure pantry station is stocked, organized, and ready for service Collaborate with line cooks and kitchen staff to ensure smooth, timely service Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times Assist with prep work, portioning, and mise en place for daily service Communicate effectively with kitchen leadership regarding inventory and supply needs

Requirements:

Prior experience in a professional kitchen or food service environment preferred Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and knife skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen setting Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency Food Handler's Certificate or ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain) Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Able to have all weekdays and weekends available. Schedule will be from 4pm-close Schedule must be flexible
