The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. This role is essential in maintaining food safety standards and supporting the overall food preparation process. Duties Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces. Help with the setup and breakdown of catering events as needed. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food handling meets health regulations. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other culinary tools. Support the team in various tasks as required to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is an advantage. Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods is beneficial.
