Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service with a positive attitude Prepare and serve gelato scoops using proper food handling techniques in accordance with sanitation standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently Upsell additional toppings, desserts, or beverages to enhance the customer experience and increase sales Maintain cleanliness of the serving area, including sanitizing equipment and cleaning tables or counters as needed Assist with food preparation tasks like stocking supplies, refilling toppings, and managing inventory levels Support food safety protocols by following sanitation procedures, proper food handling practices, and ensuring a safe environment for all Experience Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry or grocery store setting Experience in culinary arts or café environments is advantageous but not mandatory Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to creating memorable moments through exceptional service and delicious treats!
