The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, cooking, plating, kitchen cleanliness, stocking, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy restaurant and sports bar environment and can work effectively as part of a fast-paced kitchen team. Key Responsibilities Assist with preparing food items according to recipes and restaurant standards. Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, portioning, and organizing food products. Assist cooks and kitchen staff with daily food preparation and service. Cook and assemble menu items as directed. Follow established recipes, portion standards, and food-quality procedures. Plate and package food orders accurately and efficiently. Maintain clean and organized preparation areas, counters, and kitchen stations. Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, and equipment. Restock ingredients, beverages, packaging, and kitchen supplies as needed. Check food products for quality, freshness, and proper storage. Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Maintain proper food storage and temperature-control practices. Assist with opening, closing, and kitchen cleaning duties. Support the kitchen team during busy meal and game-day service periods. Communicate low inventory, equipment issues, or food-quality concerns to management. Perform other kitchen duties assigned by supervisors or management. Requirements Previous kitchen, restaurant, food-service, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen procedures is an asset. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food-safety procedures. Good attention to cleanliness, organization, and food quality. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine physical kitchen tasks.
